Type of feat: general (available every three level-ups)
Prerequisite: proficiency with the chosen weapon, base attack bonus +1
Directly required for: weapon specialization, epic weapon focus, arcane archer, champion of Torm, weapon master
Indirectly required for: epic weapon specialization

Specifics: A character with this feat is particularly skilled with a specific weapon, gaining a +1 attack bonus with it.

Use: automatic. This feat may be selected multiple times, but the effects do not stack. It applies to a new weapon in each case.

Notes[]

  • Prior to Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, Weapon focus in the trident was ineffective in combat. (The bonus to attack was not used).
  • There is no version of this feat for the magic staff or lance.
  • This feat is commonly used to influence the type of weapon generated as loot in specially designated containers. (The assumption is that a player will not focus in a weapon that the player would rather not acquire.)

Builder notes[]

Item feat: No, but it can be added with custom content.

Custom content notes[]

Removable: yes

Reusable: yes

Script: hardcoded

  • This feat can be added to iprp_feats.2da to make it available as an item feat.
