Thay

Thay is the home of the powerful Red Wizards whose whim can move every mountain and summon great demons to lay waste to entire armies. Besides the great magic that seems to fill every corner, the land is famed for its great prosperity, with exquisite artworks and rich culture. To most folk of the realms, Thay is the great eastern threat, the land of bloody-handed wizards who at any time could sweep across their borders on the back of fire elementals.

With Thay's corpse system, player characters (PCs) drop corpses (in their own image) and lootbags containing their inventory upon death. This corpse may be used to raise the PC via raise dead and resurrection. However, if the corpse is burned with a torch or an area of effect spell destroys it, then the PC is gone forever, and the player must make another character. If raised, the PC may retrieve their items and continue onwards.
PCs may buy a slave to carry around excess items.
PCs may become Red Wizards of Thay.
Players may run their own guilds or buy their own strongholds and get various perks for it. They may also defeat and capture other guilds and strongholds.
Players get to explore a world not previously created in a NWN Module.
Thay features challenging bosses that will not be defeated without teamwork and tactics.
A great optional soundtrack is available.
