The talk table changes of the Community Patch Project affect the text displayed on the screen, making descriptions match what they describe. In some cases, this was done instead of making functionality match the description, while in others the functionality could not be changed with just custom content. (In two cases — bombardment spell and barkskin item property — the text was changed to match changes to functionality introduced by the project.) This is implemented by overwriting dialog.tlk with a modified version.

Currently these changes are only available in English and Czech (unofficial language).

  • The description of ability bonuses on items has been changed from its official name of "Enhancement Bonus" to "Ability bonus". (Due to how this was implemented by the project, a client-side change is also required.)
