Ugliness and player choice[]
- The bullet point "In Neverwinter Nights they are often the least played race, due to horrible looking long arms and noses" is a matter of opinion, not fact, and seems irrelevent. Should it be removed? --Kato

Stature notes[]
Since the limitiations on gnome equipment use due to small stature don't really belong with special abilities, I've created a "Stature restrinctions" section and put the weapon and package notes there and added a note on tower shields. If no one has any objection, will do the same for the halfling entry in a day or two. - MrZork 22:17, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, those are consequences of being small-sized, and "small stature" is listed as a special ability. Maybe small stature should be moved to the end of the list of special abilities (so its sub-points do not interrupt the flow of the list), and the limitations added to the sub-points? Also... should the list of weapons be suppressed? The in-game description does give that explicit list of weapons, but the restriction also applies to custom content weapons. Removing the list might make that clearer to those playing with custom content. --The Krit 13:21, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
- It is not just custom content, tridents aren't on the exception list either. WhiZard 22:37, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
Stature notes II[]
At some point, the note in the stature section was changed from saying that choosing other than the default package might give unusable startup equipment to saying that it might give unusable startup equipment "or feats". I think it would be useful to say "or weapon focus feats". Or, is there some other unusable feat that a package might give to a small PC at level 1? - MrZork (talk) 08:09, March 13, 2015 (UTC)
