The part saying cleric's get this with the protection domain is a typo as they get the "minor globe of invulnerability" not the "globe of invulnerability". --68.106.242.110 21 January 2007

Are applied metamagic feats taken into account in determining whether a spell is blocked, i.e. an Empowered Fireball (lvl 3) cast as a lvl 5 spell - would this spell prevent it from taking effect? --146.151.39.73 10 February 2009

• I doubt empowering a level 3 spell would allow it to get through a globe of invulnerability, but I have not checked. --The Krit 23:45, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

• I tested, the empowered fireball doesn't get through the globe. The Shades version of the fireball does, however. --220.255.7.239 10 May 2009
