[edit] Holy Sword cure?

  • Someone added that you can reverse Flesh to Stone by hitting them with a Holy Sword. I don't understand that. Is it because Holy Sword has dispel? I thought Flesh to Stone couldn't be dispelled. -- Austicke 17:09, 1 Dec 2005 (PST)
  • Yes, if you hit someone with the Holy Sword it will remove the petrification effect from them. 129.21.188.147 07:16, 2 Dec 2005 (PST)
  • Tried it, with normal game rules a Holy Avenger weapon can remove the petrification effect off of a petrified target. Dae-Glyth 12:39, 12 January 2006 (PST)
  • "Also, if the caster rests, any creatures turned to stone by him will be restored."

[edit] Resting

I seem to remember this only happening if you rested in same area as the affected creature. This could be due to a custom spawn system we use (Ness) DaBear 07:50, 11 July 2006 (PDT)

No, it works if they rest anywhere. All spells are canceled upon rest. -- Alec Usticke 16:42, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

When logging off and back on to a server after having petrified a creature (including PCs) under Hardcore difficult settings, the caster of Flesh to Stone can rest without the petrified creature being restored.
