Summonedit this page
From NWNWiki
A summon is a creature that was magically drawn from another plane of existence, or simply from the nearby environment. A summon is compelled to do the bidding of the one who summoned it.
The school of conjuration is responsible for all spells which are able to summon a creature or object.
[edit] Sources for summoned creatures
- Outsiders are summoned from the outer planes.
- Elementals are summoned from the inner planes.
- Shadows and invisible stalkers are summoned from the Plane of Shadows.
- Animals and vermin are summoned from the local environment.
[edit] Notes
- Without custom content, a caster is limited to a single summmon at a time.
- Killing a summoned creature does not grant experience points, but summoning a creature does reduce experience awards for kills (as it increases party size).
- When a caster dies, all creatures summoned by the caster return to their native planes (or environment).
- A summoner can unsummon a summoned creature at any time by selecting the "Unsummon" option in the creature's radial menu.
