Server vault

A server vault is a repository of characters on a NWN server. Unlike local vault characters, server vault characters may only be played on a specific server (but may be copied to your local vault by using the save command).

The server vault is the more frequently used storage option in Neverwinter Nights online play, because it prevents players from unbalancing a given campaign by editing their characters or giving them amazingly powerful items.
