Seeker arrow

Prerequisite: arcane archer 4

Specifics: At fourth level, an arcane archer gains the ability to launch an arrow once per day that cannot miss its target. At sixth level this ability can be used twice per day. This arrow is magically created at the moment the archer uses this ability.

• Added in the expansion packs.
• The piercing damage inflicted by a seeker arrow is double the sum of weapon base damage (d6 for a shortbow or d8 for a longbow), strength modifier, weapon specialization (if applicable), and epic weapon specialization (if applicable). So if an arcane archer with a 12 strength and the appropriate weapon specialization rolls a 4 for damage, the piercing damage will be 2 × (4 + 1 + 2) = 14 damage.
  • This damage is intended to penetrate damage reduction according to the arcane archer's enchant arrow bonus, but a bug in the game (not the script) prevents this.
• A seeker arrow also deals magical damage equal to the arcane archer's enchant arrow bonus.
