Player character

A Player Character (PC) is a person or character run by a player who directly decides the character's actions. They're distinguished from Dungeon Masters, who control a game and can control many creatures, or Non-Player Characters, who are typically run by the computer AI (or possessed by a DM).

BioWare identifies players by their player name and organizes their Player Character files (.bic) in local vaults or server vaults.
