Description: The dragon breathes a paralyzing breath with an effectiveness based on the dragon's age.
- The "dragon's age" is determined by the number of hit dice (a.k.a. character level) of the creature activating the dragon breath.
- The duration and saving throw DC are given in the following chart.
|Hit dice||Age||Duration||Breath DC|
|6 or less||wyrmling||1 round||14|
|7 to 9||very young||2 rounds||17|
|10 to 12||young||3 rounds||18|
|13 to 15||juvenile||4 rounds||21|
|16 to 18||young adult||5 rounds||23|
|19 to 21||adult||6 rounds||26|
|22 to 24||mature adult||7 rounds||27|
|25 to 27||old||8 rounds||30|
|28 to 30||very old||9 rounds||31|
|31 to 33||ancient||10 rounds||34|
|34 to 36||wyrm||11 rounds||36|
|37 or higher||great wyrm||12 rounds||39|
- If the duration is at least 4 rounds, then it is reduced for PCs to a half when the difficulty setting is "normal", and to a quarter at easier settings. This is (incorrectly) cumulative for each PC affected.
