- Since spell resistance is applied to each arrow individually, this spell is very effective at eating through spell mantles. (Each arrow will reduce the protection of the mantle by 3 spell levels.)
- At high levels and using various metamagic feats, this spell's damage is extreme, since there is no cap on number of arrows cast.
