Fenthick Moss

Abbot Fenthick Moss is a cleric of Tyr, God of Justice. He participated with the investigations of the plague of Neverwinter at the request of his lover, Aribeth.

  

Fenthick first appeared to the hero in the Prelude. He and the Helmite Desther came to guard the Waterdavien creatures, but arrived too late. After a week in the Hall of Justice, he once again meets the hero and explains that Aribeth needs him and where she is. After that, Fenthick only affects the chapter with the information that the player character brings him.

At chapter's end, Fenthick, Desther, Aribeth, Lord Narsher, and the hero take part in creating the cure for the wailing death. After the creation of the cure, Desther reveals himself to be a traitor, and steals the cure. He escapes through a portal as false Helmites attack those within the temple. Fenthick follows Desther, in hope that it was a mistake that Desther had betrayed Neverwinter and hopes to turn him back.

The player character will find him in the second level of Helm's Hold. Fenthick is sobbing, He is distraught by his foolishness, and blames himself. He knows that he will be punished by his mistake. He tells the hero that he does not wish his lover, Aribeth, to see him after that.

Fenthick is hung after the defeat of Desther. From then on, he is a sore subject for Aribeth.
