The feat changes of the Community Patch Project affect the functioning of some feats that require activation to be used.
Cosmetic changes[]
The feat changes that have no effect on gameplay are the following.
- Death arrow
- The standard death visual effect was added, and the icon shown in the action queue was changed.
- Divine might and divine shield
- The notification regarding no turn undead uses remaining was changed from spoken to floating text.
- Mighty rage
- The need to click on self after activating this feat was eliminated.
Balance changes[]
Some class feats were changed because the project's author believed them to be unbalanced or broken.
- Arcane archer
-
- All "arrow" feats
- The damage on a critical hit is now rolled multiple times instead simply being tripled. In addition, these can now be used while silenced.
- Death arrow
- Now counts as a hostile action (hence breaks invisibility) if it misses.
- Imbue arrow
- Now can be fired at a location.
- Barbarian
-
- Barbarian rage
- Reactivating this ability before the previous one expired now overwrites the old effects instead of doing nothing. In addition, it no longer stacks with mighty rage.
- Mighty rage
- This now can be activated even while under effect of the standard rage, but it will not stack with the standard rage.
- Terrifying rage
- Checks for immunity to fear and mind-affecting were added.
- Thundering rage
- The weapon bonuses now will go to creature weapons or gauntlets (only deafness) if no no weapon is equipped when this is activated.
- Blackguard
-
- Bull's strength
- No longer stacks with the spell.
- Monk
-
- Empty body
- Reactivating this ability before the previous one expired now overwrites the old effects instead of doing nothing.
- Harper scout
-
- Cat's grace
- Eagle's splendor
- These no longer stack with the spells of the same name.
- Pale master
-
- Deathless master touch
- Undead graft
- These can now be used while silenced.
Non-visible changes[]
A few feats were changed in a way that is never directly observable by a player. These changes affect the way the feats interact with custom scripts.
- Divine wrath
- The wrong spell ID was used in OnSpellCastAt events.
- Lay on hands
- The OnSpellCastAt event was signaled twice when used against undead.
