Community Expansion Pack

The Community Expansion Pack (CEP) is a large hak pak collection of content previously posted on the Neverwinter Vault by independent users, organized to play well together and ditching buggy content. The CEP has been very successful, and many long-term players have found the CEP to be as vital to NWN as the expansion packs.

CEP has had several versions over the years.

On 1 December 2008, version 2.2 was uploaded to the Neverwinter Vault. It is the second CEP release which requires the last patch for Neverwinter Nights, 1.69. Version 2.2 also marked the second release to include content from the newly-acquired Classic Roleplaying Adaptation Project (C.R.A.P.), most notably in the form of optional tilesets specific to C.R.A.P. However, at the time of release, not all C.R.A.P. content had been completely rolled into CEP 2.2 due to technical issues. This is slated to be addressed in future CEP releases. As with prior CEP releases, a great deal of new and older-but-requested user-created content was included as well.
