Description: This spell makes a creature burst into flame. The initial eruption of flame causes 2d6 fire damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +10) with no saving throw. Further, the creature must make a reflex save or catch fire taking a further 1d6 points of damage. This will continue until the reflex save is made.
- Requires Hordes of the Underdark.
- The caster level (up to 10) is also added to the damage inflicted each round that the save is failed.
- There is an undocumented, artificial limit of 10 + caster level rounds on this spell to guarantee that it will end at some point.
- A creature still subject to an earlier combust or inferno will not catch fire; the initial damage is applied, but there will be no subsequent damage.
