Special abilities Edit

A beholder is immune to knockdown and sneak attacks, and it has permanent freedom.

This creature has unlimited use of beholder special attacks and it can teleport within some areas, whether to close in on a victim or to make a strategic retreat.

Notes Edit

  • Requires Hordes of the Underdark.
  • Teleportation only occurs if the module builder has designated where the beholder "tunnels" are, which is done by placing objects with the tag "X2_WP_BEHOLDER_TUNNEL" at the tunnel exits.
    • The second "fly-in" animation of beholders can be requested by setting the local integer X2_L_BEH_USE_ANI to 2 on the object marking the tunnel.
    • Individual beholders can be blocked from teleporting by setting the local integer X2_BEHOLDER_AI_NOJUMP on the creature (to some nonzero value; 1 is convenient).
