Baram is one of the two remaining high captains in Luskan. His sole remaining enemy is Kurth, a fellow high captain in Luskan. His followers are the Black Knives, some of whom are infected with lycanthropy and shapeshift into wererats.

The entrance to his lair can be found in the northeast corner of Luskan. He has taken hostage nine children from a woman called Londa who can be found in the Cutlass Inn located in the southeast corner of Luskan.
